The Children's Community Health Service is a child and family centred organisation who work to provide children and their families with the best possible care and health opportunities within their local area. Close partnership working with other agencies helps to provide integrated services so that all children can be helped to be healthy and keep safe.
We are proud to have highly motivated and skilled staff from a range of disciplines such as Nursing (including children’s, adults, learning disabilities and public health nurses), Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Audiology and Medicine.
Within these disciplines they are skilled in the healthcare and healthcare needs of children and young people and the conditions that affect their health and development. A range of services are also offered to children who are looked after, in need of safeguarding, in travelling families, or with complex care needs.
All services have an holistic and preventative approach to healthcare. We see children in local settings: either in community based clinics, in their homes, schools, children's centres or other local venues.
